"Florale Erinnerung"

In diesem Werk nehme ich den Blumenstrauss nicht als gegenständliches Motiv auf, sondern als Ausgangspunkt für eine malerische Erinnerung. Die Formen der Blüten lösen sich auf, werden zu Farbbewegungen, Lichtspuren und feinen Gesten. Aus der Tiefe des dunklen Grundes wächst eine florale Atmosphäre empor, in der Rosa, Rot, Grün und Gelb wie Fragmente eines vergangenen Augenblicks aufscheinen.

Mich interessierte weniger die genaue Darstellung der Blumen als vielmehr ihr Nachklang: ihre Lebendigkeit, ihre Vergänglichkeit und die stille Poesie, die von ihnen ausgeht. So entsteht ein Bild zwischen Realität und Abstraktion — ein Erinnerungsraum, in dem der Blumenstrauss weiterblüht, ohne festgehalten zu werden.
